Short Recipe: Suji Halwa (Semolina Pudding)
Ingredients:
1 cup Bashundhara Wheat Semolina (Gomer Suji)
1/2 cup ghee or butter
1 cup sugar
2 cups water or milk
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Chopped nuts (cashews, almonds) for garnish
Instructions:
Heat ghee or butter in a pan and add the semolina. Stir continuously on low heat until it turns golden brown.
In a separate saucepan, bring the water or milk to a boil.
Gradually add the hot liquid to the roasted semolina, stirring to avoid lumps.
Add sugar and cardamom powder, and continue to cook on low heat until the mixture thickens and reaches a pudding-like consistency.
