Short Recipe: Simple Moong Dal Tadka
Ingredients:
1 cup Moong Dal
2 cups water
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp ghee or oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 green chili (slit)
1 onion (chopped)
1 tomato (chopped)
1 tsp red chili powder
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Rinse the Moong Dal and cook with water and turmeric until soft.
Heat ghee or oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
Add garlic, green chili, and onions, and sauté until golden.
Stir in tomatoes, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes soften.
