Short Recipe: Classic Vegetable Pulao with Ambika Basmati Rice
Ingredients:
2 cups Ambika Basmati Rice
3 cups water
1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans)
1 onion (sliced)
2 green chilies (slit)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
2-3 whole spices (bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp ghee or oil
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions:
Rinse Ambika Basmati Rice and soak for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Heat ghee or oil in a pot, add cumin seeds and whole spices, and let them sizzle.
Add sliced onion, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste. Sauté until golden.
Stir in mixed vegetables, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
Add the drained Ambika Basmati Rice and water. Mix gently.
